Dear Guests,
I am very excited to be able to write and share my news with you that Ice and Fire is now under new management.
Originally from a restaurant background, I joined Ice and Fire in 2013 to run Chalet Campanules, and I have been with the company ever since. Although initially working as a chalet chef, for the last few years I have been managing the operations so many of you will have met me when I popped into your chalets for a cup of tea and a catch up during your holidays.
All current bookings will be continuing as reserved and my plan it to run the company under broadly similar lines going forwards. I will however be working on some changes over this summer to focus on and improve the catering; and to increase the number of wines we offer so that you can try something new each night. I am very excited to put my own stamp onto a company of which I am enormously proud.
Heather will remain involved with Ice and Fire on a part time basis until around October time when she is planning a relocation to the UK with her family. She has built a wonderful business with Ice and Fire and has put a huge amount of time and effort into establishing it as the successful, professional company it is today. She will be hugely missed by myself and all of the Ice and Fire team – although it’s not completely goodbye as she’s already planning her first ski holiday!
Ice and Fire is not just about the company itself but also about the community which it has build so I would urge all of our regular guests, suppliers and team members – please do get in touch with your feedback and let me know how you see the company developing going forwards. My door is always open and I would love to hear your ideas and suggestions.
With very best wishes,
Johanna Clarke
Director
