What’s on during your Ice and Fire holiday?

Not only is the Paradiski the 4th largest ski area in the world, it is also host to some fantastic events over the season. Our organisers are great at maintaining our resort but they are also seriously good at holding events! Throughout the winter season La Plagne hosts a number of events, from the Ice Climbing World Cup to Sublicimes in April. Here we will try to cover all the events to enjoy over your holiday here with us in the beautiful mountains.

Le Grande Odysee – 18th January

If you’re lucky enough to be joining us this week you’re in for a treat. A dog lovers heaven awaits you as the Grande Odysee arrives into Montalbert. For the 16th year the cross country sled dog race has competed across the Alps and is once again making a stop in La Plagne. Starting at 1.45pm in Montalbert village the race will kick off, heading towards the bobsleigh track and round toward the Plan Bois in Les Coches for a check point, finishing back in Montalbert from around 3.45pm with the award ceremony for that day. A chance to hug some really fluffy dogs and see some great racing, an event not to be missed.
