We’ve been busy working on something really special here at Ice and Fire and we are finally ready to share it with you all. Introducing the 5-Day Women’s Walking & Coaching Retreat.
We will be working closely with Louise from Coaching with Lou to bring you a fantastic stay here in our beautiful chalets, wonderful homemade food cooked by us, guided walks in the stunning alpine surroundings and incredible coaching throughout your stay.
Louise Pode is a dedicated Personal Development Coach with over 25 years of experience helping individuals reconnect with themselves, overcome internal barriers, and build the confidence needed to step into the next chapter of their lives.
Myself (Johanna) will be on hand throughout your stay with us and will be acting as chef for your meals. I really look forward to bringing you a delicious variety of homecooked, uplifting food, after all food is important in keeping you feeling great.

Join us for a Fabulous 5-Day Women’s Walking & Coaching Retreat in the French Alps

Do you feel your confidence slipping?
Is it hard to know what you want for yourself after years supporting others?

Then this rejuvenating retreat is for you!
You’ll be with a group of like-minded women with time, space, and expert support to reset your focus, refresh and move forward with purpose.
Set in the beautiful French Alps, our 5-day women’s walking and coaching retreat combines the restorative power of nature with practical, forward-thinking coaching. It’s designed for women who want to step away from the day-to-day and take stock – personally, professionally, or both.
This is not simply a walking holiday. The daily guided walks through beautiful alpine landscapes are integrated with coaching conversations to enable you to gain clarity, confidence, and direction.
You’ll be walking alongside a small group of like-minded women. These are not high-intensity hikes, but manageable walks that suit a range of abilities, allowing time for discussion, reflection, and insight. Alongside this, there will be the opportunity for more in-depth coaching in small group or 1:1 settings, tailored to your goals and needs.
They’ll be space in the afternoons to relax in the sauna and hot tub, put your feet up or join the optional sessions of guided meditation and hypnotherapy. Gentle tools that help calm the mind and create new thinking.
You’ll be well looked after, with comfortable accommodation in a stunning setting and delicious meals made from seasonal, local ingredients. Nothing extravagant or indulgent – just delicious, nourishing food, some local wines and warm hospitality.
By the end of the five days, you’ll return with:
- A clearer sense of what matters most to you
- Practical tools to take your next steps
- Renewed energy and perspective
- A sense of connection – to yourself and others

You don’t need to be particularly fit, and you certainly don’t need to have everything figured out. Just bring walking boots, curiosity, and a willingness to slow down and reflect. Oh and a cossie if you fancy the hot tub or a lake swim!
