Flights and transfers aren't included in your holiday to give you the flexibility to book the travel options which suit you best. On the pages on this site you will find flight and transfer information to help you reserve this but please get in touch if you have any questions.

As with most holiday accommodation we have a check in and out time. Check in is 4.00pm on your day of arrival and check out is 10.00am on day of departure. The reason for having check in/out times is simply to give your hosts enough time to clean the chalet on changeover day. If you are planning on arriving before check in or departing after check out, then we can store your luggage at the chalet for you however the chalet and its facilities will not be available for use. Please contact us to arrange this prior to arrival.

Lift passes, ski hire and ski school are not included in the price of your holiday but we have a full booking service so that they can be pre-ordered on your behalf before you arrive. Please note that lift passes must be booked at least 4 days before you travel in order that we have time to arrange chalet delivery.

When you book your chalet on a shared occupancy basis, you will be sharing the property with other Ice and Fire guests. Due to data protection legislation, we cannot pass specific details of other guests onto you however, we are always happy to provide general information - for example whether there are children or other solo travelers booked. This information is likely to change as we get subsequent bookings. Please be aware when sharing a chalet with other people you need to be respectful of their space and keep noise to a minimum

The balance is due 10 weeks before your arrival date. We will send you a reminder and information about how to pay.

We offer beer, wine and soft drinks in the complimentary bar which you can help yourselves to during the holiday. We don't limit this on a per person basis and within reason you can help yourselves as and when you want. However, the complimentary bar may be restricted at our discretion in certain cases e.g. excessive drunkenness, damage to chalet or property, underage drinking etc.

You can wear slippers or socks in the chalet - whichever you feel is most comfortable. We do ask you to leave outdoor shoes in the entrance hall to help keep the chalet clean and dry.

Ice and Fire use this website for sales and as part of our responsible tourism policy we do not have a printed brochure. We are happy to answer any questions via email or phone

Skiing is an inherently active sport, requiring a basic level of fitness to take part. If you have any concerns about your ability to do this, we recommend that you contact your doctor for professional advice prior to booking.

As a company, we do not make any minimum health requirements for people staying in our chalets however if you have mobility problems or are unsure whether our accommodation would be suitable, we recommend that you contact us for advice prior to booking.

We do not provide hairdryers in each room of our chalets. Should you forget your own there is one hairdryer provided per chalet which you are welcome to use, please ask your hosts.
