Transfers to Les Coches or Plagne Village

There are various methods for getting to resort once you have arrived at your airport/train station, much depends on the size of your group and your preferred method of travel. Private Minibus Transfer

If you are travelling in a group of 4 or more then it is often best to book a minibus transfer from the airport. The advantage of this is that you are met at the airport or train station and will be taken comfortably to your chalet with no fuss or hassle. Shared Minibus Transfers

If you are traveling as part of a small group or as an individual with Ice and Fire, it is sometimes possible to share a minibus in order to reduce the costs of getting to resort. Shared transfers are organised for people who are traveling to the same airport and arriving within 2 hours of each other.

There will be a set meeting point at the airport and a time at which the driver will be there from, once all of the people traveling to the resort have arrived the minibus will take you all directly to your chalets. On the return trip you will be picked up at the chalet and taken to the airport in time to check in for the earliest flight in your group. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Public Coaches

For many years now there has been an excellent service running from most of the airports, the coaches are modern, well equipped and driven by professionally trained drivers. They run very regularly and will get you either to Bourg Saint Maurice if you are going to Les Coches or to La Plagne Centre if you are travelling to Plagne Village. There is an online booking service which has an English translation and from our own experience it is a very easy and cost effective method of getting to resort. If you are a solo traveller or in a small group then this is a very good option.

By Train

It is also possible to catch a train from some of the airports, if you are travelling from Geneva there is a train station in the airport but there are a couple of changes to make on the way. Lyon airport also has a train station in the airport and has trains that travel direct, Chambery airport is a short taxi or public bus ride to the train station where you can get a direct train. The station nearest to Les Coches is either Aime or Bourg Saint Maurice both of which are a 20 minute drive from the chalet. If you are staying in La Plagne then Aime is your nearest station and there are regular public buses taking you to the resort.
