At Ice and Fire we do as much as possible to try and make you holiday as smooth and easy as possible. Here we have put together a list of the most common questions and answers, but if you are still unsure of anything then please don't hesitate to get in contact. We will do all that we can to make your holiday one to remember.

Can you tell me more about catered package changes for 2018-19 season

On 1st September 2018 Ice and Fire are changing our standard package from 6 nights catering to 5 nights catering for new bookings.

Why are you changing your package?
We are changing our package to ensure that we comply with industry norms; to ensure that our staff package remains attractive and fair; and to enable us to continue providing cost effective holidays. You can read more information here.
I have already booked my holiday with you – will it change?
We will not make any change to a booked holiday. If you have booked your holiday and paid your deposit before 1st September 2018 then your holiday will continue as booked with 6 nights catering.
I want to add on to an existing booking in a chalet – how many nights catering will I have?
If you are adding on to an existing booking in an already booked chalet you will usually have the same number of nights catering as the existing booking. Please ask our sales team for clarification before booking.
Are your prices increasing?
A lot of ski companies are discussing increasing the costs of holidays remaining for sale in 2018-19 in order to cover increased staffing costs. Ice and Fire isn’t doing this. The prices for our 2018-19 ski holidays won’t increase – these will remain as currently quoted on the website.
Prices for the 2019-20 ski season have not yet been released but they are likely to increase slightly to cover the increased cost of staffing.
Which days will the chalet team have off?
With the new packages the chalet team will typically have Wednesday and Friday off on the majority of weeks. If you have questions regarding this please contact us.
What happens about food on the chalet team’s day off?
On those days your hosts will leave a continental breakfast and afternoon tea out ready for you to help yourselves from.
In the evening you can choose to get a takeaway/meal delivery or go out for dinner in the evening. Our pre arrival team can recommend a suitable restaurant for you, and make a reservation if you would like.
What should I do if I have more questions regarding the package?

Do you provide flights and transport to resort?
